New Bi folding shopfront for The Press Room in Surbiton
The Press Room in Surbiton is a popular independently run Coffee Shop which serves thousands of customers a week. We were contacted by them to deliver a new shopfront that made the most of their shopfront space.
We put forward the benefits of a bi-folding shopfront to the team, whilst retaining their breakfast style bench, we designed a bi-folding shopfront that allowed them to open up their whole shopfront, whilst maintaining the current internal design.
Our doors used the Comar Aluminium system, which gave us full confidence in the doors we were installing. We added a 600mm long guardsman handle on the main door to give it an added sophisticated look.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, The Press Room were able to serve customers as a ‘takeaway’ only due to the opening up of the shopfront. Another key benefit of bi folding windows.
