City Sports (City University) Commercial Entrance Doors
A brand new commercial entrance doors for City Sports, in Barbican London.
City Sports in Barbican London is a publicly used Sports center which has a high footfall 7 days a week. It was initially opened with an automatic sliding door system that was quickly un-fit for purpose. The door opening was not meeting DDA requirements & the doors themselves were in constant need of repair and breaking down.
Supreme Shopfronts carefully removed the existing sliding doors & a fixed glazed panel, creating a new wider opening allowing for the installation of two new swing commercial doors. One of the doors came fitted with an automatic swing arm opener, allowing for the door to be opened with the press of a button.
The work schedule was strict and had to be completed within two days. We were proud that our team worked tirelessly to complete all works on schedule, in time. As the venue is only closed for a few select days of the year, sticking to schedule was imperative.
